VFX #1 – A girl releases a moth from the inside of a classic Venetian street lamp ("lampione") by pulling a small cage mechanism beneath it. The small cage will be a prop on location, placed underneath the street lamp. The shot needs compositing and subtle effects to blend the practical and digital elements seamlessly. The lamp itself was shot practically, and the moth will need to be integrated in post (can be stock footage, practical element, or CG). Enhancements might include:

• Subtle glow inside the lamp (to suggest warmth)
• Light refractions/caustics when the cage opens
• Digital moth (tracked and composited inside the lamp + flying out)
• Light interaction on the girl's face as the moth moves
• Light dust falling from cage pulled by actor There is no gore, action, or chaos—this is a delicate, symbolic moment. Visual poetry more than spectacle.
